7^th Annual

Anaheim ICE Synchronized Team Championships 

Dear Coaches and Team Managers, 

I have some exciting news about this year’s event: 

1.     We will be running both an ISI competition and a USFS competition during this year’s event.  I have included both an ISI entry form and a USFS entry form.  The USFS information and entry form are distinguished by their blue color. 

2.     For the USFS competition, we will be using the IJS system of judging for open junior, collegiate, adult, intermediate, novice, junior and senior events.  All other USFS events will use the 6.0 system of judging. 

3.     US Figure Skating will be using this event to “Monitor” West Coast teams who are eligible to compete under the IJS system.  (See “Sectional Monitoring Session” application) 

4.     US Figure Skating will be hosting a mini West Coast Coach’s Seminar for all coaches (ISI and USFS). 

5.     US Figure Skating will be hosting a “Learn to Judge” seminar for coaches and skaters who are interested in becoming a synchro judge.  (You will be trial judging some events on Sunday)
